Simulate a call

Try a flow by typing or talking as the shopper, with each action answering the way you choose. Nobody is called and nothing is charged.

At the end: a passing simulation of your draft, listed on its Test history tab, which is what publishing needs. You'll also have heard how the flow handles the awkward cases: a "no", a changed answer, an action that fails.

A simulation runs your flow on the same agent that makes real calls, but connected to the browser instead of a phone. Actions never touch your store: each answers with the reply you pick.

A test call in the browser: you play the shopper, steps advance, answers and the action land, and it shows as Passed in Test history.
  1. Open the flow

Open your flow from Flows. To try a library flow, copy it first with Use this flow.

  2. Choose Simulate

A panel opens with the flow's inputs filled from their samples, and the Language to start in.

  3. Set the inputs

Change any value to the case you want to try: a long address, a large total. The phone number is only data here; nothing dials it.

  4. Choose what each action answers

Under Actions answer, pick a reply for each action: Done, Refused, Accepted, pending or No reply. Use Refused and No reply to hear how the flow recovers.

  5. Start

Choose Type as the shopper to chat, or Talk as the shopper to speak over your microphone (allow it once; use headphones). The call starts with the disclosure line.

  6. Play the shopper

Answer as a real shopper would: say no, change your mind, switch to Hindi, ask a question off script. Beside the conversation, What the agent did shows the step it's on and each tool call with its reply.

  7. Check the verdict

When the call ends, the Test history tab lists it as Passed (it reached one of the flow's outcomes with no errors) or says why not: Didn’t finish, No outcome, Ended without a flow outcome, Failed or Something went wrong.

Simulations are never charged and never appear in Results or Analytics. They show on the Calls page under the Simulations kind, with their transcript.

What to try

  • The happy path, start to finish.
  • A "no" to the first question.
  • A changed address or slot halfway through.
  • Answering in Hindi, then switching to English.
  • Asking for a person.
  • Each write action set to Refused, then No reply.
