The disclosure line

Every RowCall call opens by saying it is an automated assistant calling for your store and that the call is recorded, in the shopper's language.

The opening of every RowCall call tells the shopper three things: that this is an automated assistant, which store it is calling for, and that the call is recorded. It is spoken before any question.

"Hi, this is an automated assistant calling for Halden Electronics about your order. This call is recorded. Do you have a minute?"

Rules for the line

  • It comes first, before any question or detail of the order.
  • It names your store, the way the shopper knows it.
  • It says the caller is automated. Words like "assistant" alone are not enough.
  • It says the call is recorded.
  • It is spoken in the language the call starts in, and repeated in the new language if the shopper switches.

What you can change

You can change the wording to match your brand's voice, in each language you use. You can't remove the line, move it later in the call, or remove the word "automated" or the recording notice (or their equivalents in another language). The flow builder keeps the line locked at the start of every flow.

What RowCall records

The disclosure is the first line of every call's transcript, word for word, and the recording keeps it too, so you can show what the shopper heard and when.

You can reword the line per language in the flow builder. It stays a fixed line (said exactly as written, never paraphrased), and a flow that doesn't open with it fails its checks and can't be published. See Build a flow.
