How stores on Glood use RowCall flows, what Glood does and what RowCall does, and how to get started.

Glood is a commerce platform for ecommerce brands and RowCall's first platform partner. If your store runs on Glood, Glood connects RowCall to your orders for you: it sends the events that start calls and performs the actions a call needs.

What a call can do on Glood

During a call, RowCall can ask Glood to:

  • look up an order (get_order)
  • confirm or cancel an order (confirm_order, cancel_order)
  • change the delivery address of an order that hasn't shipped (update_delivery_address)
  • offer and book delivery slots (get_delivery_slots, book_delivery_slot)
  • send a payment link or restore a checkout (send_payment_link, restore_checkout_link)

Glood checks every request against your store's data before acting. The final list of actions is being agreed with Glood and may change before launch.

An order verification call, step by step

  1. An order is placed

Rahul M. orders a sofa on Halden Electronics, cash on delivery, and ticks "Call me about this order". Glood starts an order verification run.

  2. RowCall calls

The assistant says it's automated and calling for Halden Electronics, then reads the order back.

  3. Rahul changes the address

"Send it to my office instead." The assistant reads the new address back and Rahul says yes. RowCall asks Glood to update the address; Glood checks the order hasn't shipped and updates it.

  4. The order is confirmed

RowCall asks Glood to confirm the order, and Glood releases it for dispatch. You see the call, the answers and both actions in RowCall.

Getting started

  1. Get your RowCall account

  4. Test, then go live

Run test calls in the browser first. See Simulate a call.
