Pricing and billing
RowCall is prepaid. You top up your org's balance in rupees, and each connected shopper call is charged by the second at one per-minute rate.
RowCall is prepaid. Each org has its own balance in rupees. You top up, and each connected shopper call is charged from the balance when it ends.
Each store pays RowCall directly. Apps that start calls for you, such as Glood, never handle your money. A new org starts at ₹0; there is no free credit.
The price
There is one rate for every connected shopper call: ₹3.00 a minute (plus GST), charged to the second, with 30 seconds at least per call, rounded to the nearest paisa. A call of 1 minute 10 seconds costs ₹3.50; a call of 10 seconds is charged as 30 seconds, ₹1.50. A call is connected when the receiving network reports it answered, including when voicemail picks up.
RowCall may agree a different rate for your org in writing. Your rate is always shown in Settings → Billing. RowCall emails you at least 30 days before raising your rate.
Your credit
- Each ₹1 you pay before GST adds ₹1 of credit.
- Credit can be used only to pay for RowCall. It can't be moved to another org or anyone else, and can't be withdrawn as cash.
- Credit is never refunded.
- Credit expires 365 days after it was added. Calls use the credit that expires first, so older credit goes first. Settings → Billing shows how much expires next, and when. Owners get an email at least 30 days before any credit expires. Credit that expires appears in Activity as Credit expired.
See the Terms of service.

Verify your business
Before your org makes phone calls, RowCall checks who is calling shoppers. Phone networks in India expect every business that calls customers to be known. Simulations and browser calls don't need it.
Until your business is approved, a banner across the app says so. Start from the banner, from Verify your business on Home, or from Business in Settings → Billing.
Tell RowCall about your business
Fill in four short sections. Each one is saved on its own, so you can stop and come back.
Section What it asks Business Business type, legal name, registration number (CIN or LLPIN, for companies and firms), PAN, GSTIN if you're registered, registered address, state and PIN code Store Your store's website, what you sell, orders a month, and the support email and phone shoppers can reach Representative The person RowCall talks to: name, role, email and phone Calls The calls you'll make, and that every shopper you call agreed to be called Your business details also become your billing details, so you fill them in once.
Under DLT registration, enter your principal entity ID from your DLT registration (Jio, Airtel, Vi or BSNL portal). RowCall approves your business only with it. You can add it any time, even while RowCall checks the rest. See Registration (DLT).
Send for approval
Accept the Terms of Service and the calling rules, then choose Send for approval. While RowCall checks, your details are locked and the page says RowCall is checking your details.
Approved, or what to change
RowCall checks your details against your PAN and GST registration and emails you. If something needs changing, RowCall's note shows beside that field; fix it and send again. Once approved, RowCall gives your org a phone number to call from, and phone calls can start (live ones as soon as your balance covers a minute).
Until your business is approved, every phone call is refused, test calls to your own phone included, and the API answers 403 with NOT_VERIFIED. Without a phone number, a call is refused with 409 and NO_NUMBER. Only the Owner can fill in and send the details.
Live calls need credit
A live call needs at least one minute of credit at your rate. At ₹3.00 a minute, that is ₹3.00. When the balance is below that:
- Starting a live call is refused. This covers calls from the dashboard, batches and the API. The API answers
402withNO_CREDIT. See Errors. - Runs already scheduled wait. Retries and batch calls try again every 15 minutes and keep their attempts. The run's
lastErrorsaysWaiting for credit: top up in Settings → Billing. They carry on once you top up. - A call already talking finishes. It may take the balance below zero. Your next top-up covers the difference.
- Test calls still work. They are free.
When the balance drops below your low-balance alert, and while live calls need credit, a warning banner across the app says so. Owners can top up from it, from the balance on Settings → Billing, or from Credit on Home, which shows your rate and balance.

Billing details
Billing details go on your GST invoice, so you add them before your first top-up.
| Field | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Legal name | Yes | The name the invoice is made out to |
| GSTIN | No | Its first two digits must match the state |
| PAN | Without a GSTIN | Your business's PAN, for verification |

GST invoices
Every top-up gets one GST tax invoice.
- It is from Loopclub Internet Private Limited (CIN U72900DL2021PTC376254), WeWork Eldeco Centre, Block A, Shivalik Colony, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi 110017.
- Invoices are numbered in order within each financial year (April to March), such as
RC/26-27/000001. - If your state is Delhi, GST is split as CGST 9% and SGST 9%. Any other state pays IGST 18%.
- An invoice never changes after it is issued. Changing your billing details later affects only new invoices.
- A top-up is an advance payment for calls, so GST is charged when you pay. Using the credit doesn't create another invoice. Activity in Settings → Billing lists every charge, if your accountant asks what the credit was spent on.
TDS
A top-up is paid in full: you can't deduct TDS from it. If you must pay TDS on a top-up, pay it to the government separately, on the amount before GST and at no more than 2%, and email the TDS certificate (Form 16A) to RowCall through Contact. Once the tax shows in RowCall's tax credit statement, RowCall adds that amount to your balance as credit. It isn't paid out in money. See the Terms of service.
The credit appears in Activity as TDS credit, and owners see each certificate in Settings → Billing → TDS with the date it was credited. Like any credit, it expires 365 days after it was added.
Owners see every invoice in Settings → Billing → Invoices. Open one to print it or choose Download PDF. The Top-up received email also has the invoice attached as a PDF.
Low-balance alerts
You choose a balance to be warned at. It starts at ₹200. To change it, the Owner chooses Alert in Settings → Billing.
RowCall alerts the Owner, and the invoice email if you set one, by email and in Slack if you've connected it:
- once when the balance drops below your alert, and
- once when live calls pause, because the balance is under a minute at your rate.
Each alert is sent once each time the balance crosses that line, not on every call. It has a link to top up. A top-up gets its own alert, with the GST invoice. To choose who gets these alerts and where, see Alerts and notifications.
