Calling hours

RowCall only calls inside your org's calling hours, in your timezone, and never between 9 pm and 9 am India time.

RowCall places calls only inside the calling hours you set for your org. Runs that arrive outside those hours wait until the window opens, or are refused if they would be too late to help.

Setting your hours

In Settings → General → Calling hours, choose:

  • Timezone. India uses Asia/Kolkata.
  • Days. Monday to Saturday by default.
  • From and until. 9:00 to 21:00 by default.

Owners and admins can change these. See Organizations.

What happens to a run outside hours

FlowWhat RowCall does
Transactional (live checkout help)Refuses the run with OUTSIDE_CALLING_HOURS. A call 10 hours later no longer helps the checkout
Service (order verification, delivery, returns)Queues the run and calls when the window opens, as long as consent is still valid

You can also set a deadline per run, such as "call before dispatch at 18:00". A run that can't be placed before its deadline is marked expired. See Schedule and retry.

Good practice

  • Keep calls away from early mornings and late evenings, even inside the legal window.
  • For festivals and holidays, narrow the window or pause flows.
  • Retry within the same day only a small number of times. Most flows retry once.

Calling-hour enforcement at dial time is Preview and arrives with calling. Setting the hours already works.
