Troubleshooting
Fixes for the problems teams run into most often, from missing invites and sign-in trouble to calls that weren't placed.
Access
My invite email didn't arrive
- Check spam and promotions folders for an email from RowCall.
- Check the address: the invite goes to exactly the email it was sent to.
- Ask the person who invited you to open Settings → Members, find your invite under Pending invites and select Resend invite. Each resend makes a new link and invalidates the old one.
- If RowCall created your org and you can't find the invite, write to us through the contact page.
The invite link says it has expired or was already used
Invites work for 7 days and once. Ask for a new one (see above). If you already accepted it, just log in.
"This invite is for another email"
You're logged in with a different email from the one invited. Select Log out and continue, then sign up or log in with the invited email.
I can't log in
- RowCall says "That email and password don't match": check the email, then use Forgot password. The reset link works for 1 hour.
- RowCall says "Verify your email first": select Send the verification link again and open the newest email. Links work for 24 hours.
- "Too many tries": wait a few minutes and try again.
- You signed up with Google: use Continue with Google, or set a password from Account after you log in.
My verification link doesn't work
Links work once and for 24 hours, and only the newest link works. Log in and select Send the verification link again.
I'm in the wrong org
Use the org switcher at the top of the sidebar. If the org you need isn't listed, you aren't a member; ask its Owner or an Admin for an invite.
I can't see a section or a button
Your role doesn't allow it. For example, Viewers can't invite people, and only Owners and Admins can read the audit log. Open Settings → Roles to see what each role can do, and ask an Admin to change your role. See Roles and permissions.
"This org is suspended"
Calls and changes are paused for the org. Contact us through the contact page.
Calls
Calls are in Preview: this section describes how they will behave when they ship.
A call wasn't placed
Open the run. Its status is failed with a reason:
| Reason | What it means | Fix |
|---|---|---|
CONSENT_MISSING | The call type needs consent and none was sent, or it expired | Send a consent record with the run. Service consent lasts 7 days |
CONTACT_OPTED_OUT | The shopper asked not to be called | Don't call them. See Opt-outs |
OUTSIDE_CALLING_HOURS | It's outside your calling hours for the shopper | The run waits for the next window if you schedule it, or start it later |
INVALID_NUMBER | The phone number isn't a valid Indian number | Send it in international format, such as +919800000000 |
INVALID_INPUT | A required input wasn't sent | Check the flow's inputs |
The shopper says the call looked like spam
Check that the flow's call type is right and that it makes no offer, that your shoppers know to expect a call, and that the consent wording was clear. Tell us the call's id through the contact page so we can check the number's health.
An action failed
Open the call record and look at the action: your system's reply, or the timeout. Common causes are an order that already shipped (your system refused, which is correct), your endpoint being slow, or a signature check failing. See Actions for developers and Errors.
The call didn't switch language
The shopper's language must be in the flow's allowed languages. Add it in the flow builder, then publish a new version.
